North Carolina Merit Scholarship Information fall 2020
Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is the first step to determining what type of financial aid package students will receive from an institution. Information is required of the parent/legal guardian and student. Applications are received at the Department of Education. Information is then forwarded to the institutions listed on the application. Designated institutions then determine the amount of aid, which is based on costs to attend, versus a family's estimated family contribution. Start here by creating a PIN and proceeding to the application. Need assistance? We are here to help you.
Click here for a financial aid presentation by Ms. Susan Waldrum, HHS Financial Aid Counselor. Be sure to schedule an appointment to meet with her on Tuesdays (available for students and parents 8am - 1pm). Call 570-5600, ext 20712.
